Seemed to me that there were several balls in that last over which were effectively wasted, but hey, I'm no expert.
I never managed to figure out why it's a draw, after all - we had more runs than them at the end of the game... right? This page (http://www.cs.purdue.edu/homes/hosking/cricket/explanation.htm) seems to do a good job of explaining everything cricket related.
