I got a last minute urge to head to the movies last night and went to see the last showing of The Matador (Pierce Brosnan). The film seems to be Pierce turned sleazy. That's essentially it. It's an amusing way to spend 2 hours (well... 90mins running time) but that's it.
The humour is good and constant, the storyline is interesting, but it's just not something that adds up to anyting special.
