About 5pm I get a knock on the door. I am expecting a call from someone I sold an ebay item to, so go and prepare to give them the phone. They look confused and say that they're here to look round the house. I look befuddled and advise them that nobody's told me anything.

I shouldn't have, but I let them look around and told them that the place was rather chaotic because I was packing. I then called the agency and told them that I really didn't appreciate this behaviour, and they tried to tell me that they were going to call me but another call came through and they forgot...........

Not acceptable.

LetsXL also shall experience my wrath. I sent them a special delivery letter telling them that I needed written confirmation of my address change to reach me by the 7th April. I made this perfectly clear, in a letter that was only 6 lines long including the new address.

I called them today to confirm this was being actioned, only to be told that they weren't going to change anything as I'd requested it happen on the 7th April. *head->desk* *head->desk* *head->desk* I explained to them that I needed written confirmation of a policy with them, else I couldn't move into my new property, and couldn't change address on my policy before moving in - classic catch 22 situation.

They popped me on hold and spoke to someone else - when they came back they said they'd take the details and get a note faxed over to Jordans. I shall check with Jordans tomorrow that this has been received and if not, call LetsXL again and be most annoyed. I now regret not taking the name of the person I spoke to. I should know by now to do this no matter who I speak to and why.
