What is it with weird-ass neighbours?

Neighbour 1 - in addition to the joy of them building an unknown and unmentioned extension, they kindly replaced a section of guttering that they damaged in the process of building. Fine, whatever. They didn't mention this to us, leaving us to find out randomly. I noticed this evening while in the downstairs bathroom/extension, that there appeared to be a section of damp in the corner. Touched it and yep. Yep it's damp to the touch. Damp to the point where my fingers felt wet after touching it.

Have a look outside and I find that the replacement gutter work has knocked/moved one of the tiles such that there's now no tiles directly covering that corner.

*sigh* Another call to the landlord then.

Neighbour 2, lives in a bungalow well set back from the road with a nice long driveway, unlike every other house along this bit of road. There's a section of concrete about 2ft wide between her very tall hedge and the public footpath. Jane has taken to parking out the front of her house on the nice wide bit of pavement. Not right, I know but everybody does it and the pavement really is very wide.

Apparently she's had a go at Jane a few times about it. She says that she needs that bit of road for her family to park on. Odd when she has a nice big drive that you can easily fit 3 large or 4 smaller cars on. Anyhow, no bother. Not an unreasonable request but not one that we can always comply with due to the huge lack of parking here. Shame really. On Sunday when we went to the Trafford Centre she just happened to be outside, and when she saw us getting into the car came over to have another go.

This time she said she was calling the police as we were parked illegally - not because we're parked on her property but because we're parked on the pavement. Oh the irony. She is considering calling the police to get people in trouble for parking illegally - so that her family can park in the exact same (illegal) spot. I'm not going to stand for her bullying and argued back which she didn't like, I think she's used to people just agreeing with her. It's highly unlikely to go anywhere. I do think she deserves a polite note through her door explaining things.
