It's really annoying when you get a reply to a job application that effectively says "we'll keep you on file" - but the most annoying thing, the even more pissy one than anything else, is when you get a job advert, you apply - and hear NOTHING back. Nothing. Not a sausage. Not even an acknowledgement that you applied. I wouldn't mind, if half the recruitment agencies that I try to apply through would send me a mail saying "we didn't pass your CV on, because..." or "we passed your CV on, good luck". no, you don't hear anything - and it really pisses me off - as I have lost count of the number of applications I have made through PlanetRecruit.com, and I think in total I've had 3 replies back. Makes me want to scream.
