To go to the bank. Now, anyone who knows the area, knows that going to Glasgow is actually quite an excursion - it's not like when I was in the suburbs of Manchester, and I could hop on a bus and be in town in 15 minutes - nope, now I have a 15-20 minute walk into Helensburgh, where I get the train for a 45 minute journey into Glasgow. So if I time it just perfectly, it's an hour's trek there, and back.
Glasgow is where the most local branch of my bank (Barclays) is. There is nowhere closer. *growrs* So this means anytime I need to speak to someone at the bank, I have to do this - and invariably I never want to do anything else while I'm there. It's just frustrating when I need to go in for minor things. I could prolly do them over the phone, but I'm still an old fashioned bloke who believes that some things should be done face to face.
