We bought a Wii Fit & Game-On balance board (not genuine Nintendo) from Tesco.com the other day, it was £25 cheaper than the genuine balance board so thought it was worth a go.
It's been flakey since we got it, with communications between the board and the Wii cutting out regularly, which is a pain in the arse. I called Tesco and asked what could be done - turns out they're out of stock for a direct replacement which is a pain in the arse, and all they can do is a direct replacement or a refund. Then when Jane was playing on it yesterday, there was a loud crack. There's no definite crack, but you can see on the base of the board where it's definitely not right.
Even if they do get more in stock, I still think I'm going to get this one sent back, and get a genuine Nintendo part despite the cost - it's easy to lose confidence in a company's products, especially when the three websites they list on their documentation have no product information or anything useful on them at all.
