Hmm, most of you don't know who Kate is, do you? Ach well - I'm sure I'll tell you if you ask. But as you all know me vaguely differently, you'll all get different answers :-) >/mysterious<

Well, yes and no :-)
Phil could be said to have had a girlfriend. Wether Phil still does is up for debate. Kate and I met at a meet of people from Chatgames in 1999, and hit it off immediately, and kept a long distance thing going for well over a year, with visits when I could afford it.

Then it all went a bit Pete Tong, for reasons I cannie go into here, and though I believe we both love one another - the practicalities make it wayyyyy too difficult to keep going with on a "real" level.

Does that make sense? :)
