I called them up after a review of my finances, to say "I can't afford to have you any more, no matter how much I like having you". I was transferred through to their "Customer Liaison" department, and the guy very politely enquired as to exactly why I wanted to cancel the contract. When I explained I was skint (or rapidly apporaching such a level), he asked if I was planning on coming back to them when I was not skint anymore, and if I was - he could "cover" my costs for a month. So essentially, I am getting a month's free ITV Digital, yay! I was actually prepared to give it up...
But yes, that removes £30 worth of debt from this month. Yes! That means I might actually be able to squeeze this month's bills into my overdraught, though it will be a VERY tight spot. *fires up MS Money* *looks at the rapidly plummeting graphs* It would be funny if it weren't so desperate...
