Since I listened to Portishead's self-titled album. I was never too sure as to whether I liked the band or not, but the more I listened to them, the more I appreciate what they do. It's not the easiest music in the world to listen to, but that's not the point.

Anyhow - anyone who can say "Only You", and uhhm.... I think it's "Half Day Closing" aren't beautiful songs is a heathen.
Music:: Portishead - Cowboys
Mood:: 'tired' tired

I totally agree with you. I wasn't sure what I thought of the album the first time, but it was interesting enough to keep listening to. Now it's one of my favorites :)

Isn't it bizzare how that happens? How you can "end up" liking something that you originally hated. I used to think that it was simply because the songs that this happened with were songs that got massive rotations on the radio playlists, but I don't think it is now, simply because I barely listen to any radio.

yeah, the album from the movie "The sound of music" did it for me once too. Now it's one of my favourite things! *wink*
