But I really like this - I remember singing this when I was at school for the last Christmas carol concert that I was there for.

How Excellent Your Name
Psalm 8

O Lord, our Lord, how excellent Your name is,
How excellent Your name in all the earth,
Your glory fills the heavens
Beyond the farthest star,
How excellent Your name in all the earth

When I think about the heavens,
The moon and all the stars,
I wonder what You ever saw in me,
But You took me and You loved me
And You've given me a crown,
And now I'll praise Your name eternally,

Peter Jacobs
Mood:: 'blah' blah

its your journal. put what you like.

i found myself singing "shine jesus shine" earlier. although i was alone in my room not in public. someone mentioned it in the pub the other day, but apart from that i've not sung it since i was about 9 years old.

I think my point was, that I would never normally (randomly) quote hymns, or anything relating to religion within my journal... heck, I'm about as atheistic as they come :)

But it's odd how these songs have a way of worming into your brain :)

I think of random hymns ALL the time.

I don't know enough hymns to just think of random ones :) I basically know the ones you get at Christmas and ... uhhm, that's about it!
