You're doing a smart thing trying to protect your credit rating Phil. (Wish I had done this a few years back.)

Are there any non-profit organizations (like we have here) that you can contact if need be to help you with this? Like Consumer Credit Counseling?

There are, but I would rather stay away for now. I know how to deal with these problems the sensible way, at least... if I can keep it to myself for now I'll be much happier. All I need is a decent job and I'm sorted! *G*
