pmsumner at 05:34pm on 06/04/2002After waking up late (11am), I went out to Glasgow for the hell of it. I was going to go to Dumbarton to try and get some pics of the castle and Dumbarton Rock, but half-way there found I had forgotten to bring any disks, what an idiot...
So I went to the Great Western Road and Byers Road, and investigated a little. There're lots of smaller shops round there, stuff that you don't tend to find in the main city centres. Only bought one thing - a "best of Hanna & Barbera cartoons music" cd, for a few pound. It's a bit of fun.
I think today I am going to try and redo/update my list of CDs. I've done a lot of reading through my O'Reilly "Core Internet Technologies" book and learnt a fair whack more about the inner workings of TCP / UDP / IP, so don't want to push it for the day :) Tommorrow I'm going to try and get some Winsock programming done, assuming of course that I can find either my Visual Basic or Watson(? Think it's Watson - anyhow, mainly for embedded stuff, but useful as is easy to create quick and dirty console apps.) CDs.
I have a plan :)
Scotland are winning in the Scotland Wales match... 12-9 so far - wheee!
