It just doesn't make any sense - especially with this shitty "For Dummies" book, skipping over the important stuff and trying to get you coding as soon as possible. I am trying to find the simplest of all things - where a program starts when it's loaded - and can I? Can I hell. I know that it has a WinMain function, but where is it? Searching all the files reveals nothing. All I wanna do is load the LJ Win32 client's source, and follow it through, from start to finish - without having to use the debugger.
The book is a heap o' shite, and I am just about remebering how I got this far last time and gave up.
Everybody seems to assume when it comes to VC++ - that you either know nothing, or know lots. Being stuck in the middle - knowing how to code C++, but not knowing VC++'s way of doing things - is just a nightmare for finding stuff like that. Argh!
