Geekery comes after the <LJ-CUT>
So I'm back in black. Or partially so, anyhow. Rachel sent me a cheque for the phone I sent to her, and I shoved the £20 my folks gave me a while back in there. This doesn't mean the loan payment is alright, but I'll cross that hurdle when the time comes :) They'll just have to wait a week or so until my next JSA payment comes.
Oh, speaking of this, I got another letter from them on Friday asking me why I quit my job again - basically saying "give a good reason or we stop your benefits", and asking harder questions to answer. Hope I passed the test. As I keep on telling them, it's hardly like I ain't trying.
Improvements to my web-based LJ client today include the ability to post to a friends group. Not tested yet ;-) But you at least have the option on the page. Oh, and this is all local on my PC, rather than active - sorry to get your hopes up (yeah yeah, you're all bored shitless - aren't you?).
I'm trying to figure out a decent and non-repetitive method of fetching certain key/value pairs from the main "%serverResponse" hash - as of now I have different subs doing moods and friend groups, even though they are completely identical but for the names and hash references involved. There is a way, I know.
