I've spent the day lugging bricks, digging, hammering, pick-axeing, and generally being violent towards inanimate things up there.
Yes, I've been helping up at the nursery.
Our friends own a nursery up in Gaerlochead, and they sometimes draft us (my dad, me, all of us) in for a hand doing repairs or general stuff. Actually, considering we helped them build the extension on their house about 6 years ago, it's just general stuff anywhere, not just at the nursery.
So I got to play with a sledgehammer, and a pickaxe. And I'm exhausted. And we were fed steak and beer afterwards. Nummy. And now I need to fall into bed very soon. *yawns, as if to prove a point* Shame, as I was enjoying "Escape from the Planet of the Apes" on FilmFour :)
Got a reply from Asda telling me that they didn't want me. Not taking anyone on, apparently. Mum got one too, so at least I know it's probably true.
