When it got to be 3:30am? I mean I was going to bed two and a half hours ago... and I've done nothing but answer a few support requests badly. OK, I got a nice comment about one, but lots of them were badly, hence didn't get approved.
This is why you don't try doing support when you're doing anything you can to avoid sleep.

Let's see - I know the Nocturnal Manifesto off by heart, I can't afford to shop at CDNow or HMV, Nobody's ever on Babylon when I am, and OneWord closes down at Midnight...
That's the internet according to Phil :)

Slashdot? *coughs politely* How politely can I say "no fucking way?" :) I never have looked at it seriously, but I know people who have spent lots of time reading - and they all tend to say pretty much the same thing - don't bother.
Wired I never have looked at seriously either, but there's only so much you can read :) I didn't list everything I read - for example the BBC News or uhhhm... Annanova. It just depends how lazy I feel :)
Then again, there's always back-dated Dilbert and Userfriendly to read :)

usually from headlines in my slashboxes...
same with Wired, I usually watch the headlines there too...
Slashdot is better when you read the articles more, and less of the talking...
