Don't get lost in Bolton city centre. It's like you have to get up enough speed by circling round it many times before you can escape.
Sat evening was nice. I wasn't feeling too hot, as may have been fairly evident. Shame, because everyone who's lovely and gorgeous was there. Nice to see folk, driving down was long and damned wet (my wipers didn't go on until after Glasgow (miracles never cease....) but then never went off again), with the rain and spray being bad enough at a couple of times to fully justify using fogllights.
I'm ashamed - I was first in bed out of everyone. Come 2am and I was exhausted, I was desperately trying to stay awake but just couldn't do it any more, you know that stage you reach when you're tired and drinking lots, and your body just decides to go to sleep without consulting your brain? Aye, that's the one. That's how I was.
Shame too, because (insert her name here - I'm no good with names, OK?) was extraordinarily cute and a really really truly nice lady. Just a shame she's seriously (and I mean seriously) heavily involved... LD too. Silly woman :)
500 miles I've done almost to the dot. I'm currently exhausted. I think bed is calling me. It's 2144. *sighs*
