I've been doing some investigating and it turns out that there's a well equipped gym at the Meadow Centre in Dumbarton. No 'per session' or 'membership' prices oin the website, unfortunately, but I'll pop in tomorrow and ask. I'm feeling the need now to actually get some exercise, I'm fed up with feeling like a blob...

Yeah, tomorrow, and I'll start going after work as soon as possible, try and get into it before shifts start. Cannie wait... I love exercise - though I have to admit that it's not that frequent-a-thing that I manage to get it.
