More shopping, no housework. The place looks like shit but no matter what I can't persuade these two to do anything about it. I mean when it comes to having dirty plates and old beer cans in the living room, isn't that taking the mickey?

*sighs*

Anyhow. Not done anything productive today really, not that I'm complaining - it's nice to slob around for a while after doing some work :) I'm going to spend most of tommorrow revising if I can persuade my body it's a good idea.

I made some Boston Baked beans today - basically Borlotti Beans baked with a bacon joint and various bits on a low heat for hours. Guess what I'm going to be eating for a coupla months? *grins* Not that I'm complaining - the bacon is delicious! Beans shouldn't be quite so wet, but I know for next time not to put as much water in.

I'm lusting after an ASCII woman *laughs* (Here)
How incredibly sad am I? Or more to the point - how incredibly desperate?

And Alex is now flicking through all the channels on the OnDig box. That is so annoying - the box is next door and I use my TV card to watch via an extension cable. Have no control over what is on from here. So when someone flicks through the channels and all you can see is a flick in the corner of the screen - it's so frustrating!

It looks like my Stockroom order might have arrived - AT LAST!

Slightly annoyed though: they've left it with £12 owing in P&P! *growls*

A comment in here that basically said Livejournal was becoming too much of a community. Now I KNOW I'm a relative newbie (*g*) but I can't understand the community aspect - I use Livejournal to read my journal and to see if there's anything interesting going on in other people's - I don't see the people in my "friends" list as being actual friends necessarily (Sorry!), just people who's journals I find interesting.

I recently looked at one lady who had over 900 (I think) friends. *sighs* I think that is a silly silly thing to be doing :) I like the fact I can keep up with people and find out what they're doing or maybe feeling - whatever they WANT me to find out and do it fairly attentively.

Anyhow, back to topic - I use this place as a diary. Not as a community. I have kept diaries online in various places and formats for 3 years now, and none of them had communities based around the diary aspect. I hope this place doesn't descend into anything like that (diary-based communities, leaving people who have diaries here messages and dissallowing anonymous comments) for me.
