Today, I called in sick. I decided that although I probably could make it through the day, I'd be quite uncomfortable - I really should learn when reheating food to do it properly, damnit.

Anyway, I've been quite productive. I've got the cheque into the bank, I have tickets for the Cinema on Saturday night (it's a late showing. 2230, I think - if that's too late I'll see if it can be changed. I just thought it'd be better to go later when there'd be less chance of kiddies and hopefully slightly quieter). Uhhm. I've done lots more reading. I'm about to sit down with Muncaster and do some of the more basic exercises in the A-Level Physics book. Ahhh, brain stretching.

Listeing to Marc Cohn's "The Rainy Season". It's a great album. From the Station, for example...

Off to work my brain, and cool down my fingers. Why are there no websites with his lyrcis on that I could copy/paste, eh??

Has anyone seen anything about these Xelibri thingies? Apparently Siemens have been developing some new Mobile phone things, they're supposed to be a mix between a fashion accessory and wearable personal communication device.

I can't figure out what market they're aiming them at - the adverts are running on Nick, but they cost over £200 each.

Hmm. I fancy leftover curry.

I'm quite proud of myself. I've almost completed two chapters of exercises in the Muncaster. Simple stuff, most of it, but I'm so out of practice I have been struggling to remember how these things fit together and all the clever things you can do with equations. I was never fond of the maths side of Physics, I just enjoyed learning how and why things happened.

Why then, did I take Mechanics (Applied Maths)? :)

I'm planning on jumping into that sometime soon too, but I reckon I'll wait until I'm a bit further through my warm ups until I do that.

Ronnie called me today to ask how I was. Awwww.
Yeah I know it's his job :)
Does mean I have to go back tomorrow.
Shucks.
Maybe I can take my books and do some work?

An interesting program on BBC 4 right now, it appears to be a "Docu-drama" (I dislike that term) about the reaction of the US' Security Council to certain hypothetical (but very possible and even likely) events around the world. It has potential to be really good. I might go for a bath instead of paying attention :)

Two other very interesting looking programs they have on in the next two days: "All the Russias" about music in Russia and "Bankrupt: Ray Gosling" - the story of a man who went bankrupt and how and why and so on and so on. Oh, and then there's "Time Shift: Watching You", regarding the shift of focus onto "Reality TV" on our TVs recently.

This looks interesting: BBC To Broadcast Beethoven

Oh, and I feel rich again! Hurray. Though I really need to move to a bank which is closer to, than Barclays is. Wonder if it'd be worthwhile opening a new account and just paying some off a month to Barclays? Hmm. Something to ponder.
