I don't know what happened last night.

I cleaned up, had a few drinks, was watching TV. Wrote my LJ posts, and after that I don't remember a thing. I woke up this morning when the postman delivered my new phone (*smiles*). I was asleep on the sofa, with my duvet. Why don't I don't remember this? It's not like I drank enough to forget, either.

I just called work to see whether there's any short notice holiday available for Weds/Thurs or Fri. All I said was "I was just wondering if there was any STAR time available for this week?" and Pieter said "Hi Phil......".

Oh dear. Am I really that distinctive over the phone? That out of hundreds of employees they can recognise me? Or maybe I just call them too often! :)
