Had a fab sleep. As written in an email this morning, isn't it great how happiness spreads throughout?

Work today, 0940->2000. Hopefully it shall be as much fun as yesterday.
Do you people out there realise, I've now been working in my team at T-Mobile for a year now? This stopgap job that I took on because I was desperate, and poor, and miserable has lasted a year. I never once thought I'd be there more than 6 months. Eek. And no real plans to stop being there anytime soon.

I was reading through the corporate bonus terms and conditions the other day. They are very very sneaky. The bonus measurement period runs from Jan-Dec, but they pay it out in April or May. The T&C state very clearly, that if you leave the company before it's paid, you don't get shit. Hence you could work there for a full year, help meet those targets, leave in March and not get a penny. In effect you're always going to lose out if you leave, either 4 months from the new year, or an entire year. Sneaky.

Two things that would make any boy happy.

I have beer.
I have pizza.

You want something else?

We've had this now for the 2nd time. I feel quite strongly about it, and have completed the survey both times. What's the point in not doing it? Then my point is not even being registered.

In the words of Marc Cohn - "made my decision, and it's you all right".

OK, not quite appropriate, but they've been winging their way round my head all day - I did spent 3 and a half hours listening to him and the Divine Comedy on the way home, thanks my damned CD changer acting up.

Anyhow. I've found at least one job I am applying for in the north-west. I think I just needed the impetus to do it. And boy did I get it this last weekend.

I'm all excited now. Good stuff is happening.
