I hate this. It's even harder when you don't know what you're looking for!

I've sent off some emails to letting agencies and think I've got a vague kind of feel for what the pricing's like in various bits. Sheffield is definitely cheaper than Rotherham, and the commute to work is minimal. I need to organise some time down in that part of the world, two or three days of nothing but house-hunting.

I have texted David, and he's said "I'll get back to you". I trust him, though am still incredibly nervous.

2 months. That's what I have. I have decided the 30th November is my final date. If push comes to shove, I might change it to the 2nd of December, because that would make the standing order arrangement easier for rent :) This means I have 2 months to find a new house, arrange all my stuff, move, and be ready to start again in earnest down in South Yorkshire.

Why so soon?
I would have liked to have given myself 3 months - but seriously - why would I move over Christmas?!?! REALLY!? I am not going to do that. I don't want to wait any longer, so 2 months.... 2 months... it sounds so good....

I MUST BE MAD!

When did it get to be this time? I've hit page 70 of Harry Potter (Order of the Phoenix), my lord that book is thick. This Vanilla candle is really strong. My house stinks of vanilla now. It's very sickly sweet.

Must cut grass tomorrow...

On cleaning my car today (went to the 'rents house and used their pressure thingie) I found several quite large and unnoticed rust spots (they look just like dirty patches!) around my darling's rear wheel arches. I've stopped at Halfords and got a can of blue Hammerite to try and stop the rust spreading any further - it looks a little odd because the colour doesn't match completely, but I didn't know the colour code to buy paint as well. (Note to self: It's JAM) - I need to pick up a can of spray paint/touch up pen and sort that out soon.

I say this every time I have any dealings with paint, especially car paints, but my HEAVENS that stuff stinks. Really stinks. Yeuch.

I've hoovered her and washed her and painted her and she looks gorgeous :) Until I put the lawnmower in her, at which point she became messy again. Durnit. Still - the lawn looks better. I haven't done the edges but I'm too knackered after all that exertion!

I have Bru, soup, beer, and enough stuff to make dinner. I have "a plan". I have a ton of offers of help.

I am vaguely happy.

I headed to Tesco earlier, bad idea. Picked up BuyOneGetOneFree Vienettas - now I just need to get someone up here to eat one with because they're a little too much to eat by oneself :)

Had a fun evening watching the Biography channel! Watching Malcolm in the Middle and the SImpsons actors talking about their stuff. The Simpsons one surprised me an awful lot. The voice actors don't look anything like I thought they would. Hank Azaria? He's titchy!

Working 9-1 tomorrow. Yummy money. Hopefully they'll put more short notice o/t on as well, because service level has been shafted all month so far. We're nowhere near hitting our 80% of calls answered within 30 seconds target as far as I can tell.

Think I am off to bed and to read more of Order of the Phoenix.
