4, if you include returning an item bought during a job done during the last week or two.

I'm going to be busy - maybe not so much with the jobs themselves, but definitely with the paperwork. I expect the Optimum Contact job to take a good hour to fill in the paperwork as it's the mortgage interview. The "book of laminated dream" one is easy enough, but time consuming (no test purchase allowance, so it's got to be taken back - but you can't take the item back within 45mins of buying it). Might see if I can do that one in the AM off-peak period, and take it back after the mortgage interview.

Speaking of which, am supposed to take 6mths of payslips with me. However I don't want them to know how much I get paid, as I'm going to be lying in order to ensure I don't get laughed at (you want to borrow how much?!) *grins*

At least I've got my lunch paid for.

I was just doing my job for Optimum, and I'd parked up, being told the interview would last about an hour I put an hour's parking on.

When I get back to the car nearly about an hour and a half later, I find the damn warden issuing me a ticket. I explain and say "I was at an interview which lasted longer than expected" she says "Once I've started writing the ticket I can't stop". I offer to pay for the excess parking there and then but she just repeats the same thing again.

WTF is that excuse? Of course they can stop if they want.
*sigh* So, a £50 ticket (£40 if paid within 28days apparently, whoohoo), a £47.50 fee for the job. Hardly bloody worth it.
