I forgot to mention, I got a phone call from someone at 'S.Com Recruitment' earlier today, advising me that he'd got a 3 month contract available, working for O2 in Leeds, doing pretty much _exactly_ the same as I'm doing now. Now whilst I recognise this isn't the direction I'm wanting to go - let's listen up closely for a few moments...

He asked what I was after salary wise, I advised my current salary and he chuckled - stating "They're offering £1x0 a day?". I can't remember what the x is, but I think it's 2 or 8... *gulp* Nobody's ever even considered paying me that much ever before! Yes, it's a 3 month contract. Yes it's not exactly career progression. Just think of the money! It's at least double what I get now, assuming I got 'x' right and it wasn't higher than that.

So I've said I'm interested and to get more info. *crosses fingers that it's all good stuff*

I've cleaned, tidied and made sure that there's nothing in the fridge which will stink when I get back. I've done my paperwork, and ensured that my washing is done (last load on now). All I need now, is to find my suit, a shirt, a tie, some suitable socks, mend my cufflinks if necessary (is soldering broken cufflinks as a short term repair taking the mick?).

I don't wanna. I'm sleepy. Though considering I want to be gone from the house by 9am tomorrow, I'd best not argue with my common sense as I'm utterly useless in the mornings. I even managed to do the wrong coffee shop in meadowhall this morning so had to go back after work. Ho hum.
