I have mostly been downloading "American Standard" today. Had a lookie on Amazon and CDNow but neither seem to have their CDs in stock now. Seeing as I have to go to Dumbarton tomorrow, may as well go all the way to Glasgow and poke round HMV, see if they can help. Actually, wouldn't it be clever to check their website?

Damn - I'm smoking hot tonight!
No work 'till Wednesday? I'm gonna go mad. A weekend is hard enough. I don't understand how I got by when I was unemployed, ya know?

I was disappointed to find out yesterday that American Standard has gone through a change. Their two best assets are no longer with the band...Corey Sterling the vocalist, and Chris Aaron on lead guitar. They still have the great bassist and keyboardist, but the band is apparently "turning up the funk" and getting away from the rockin' blues.

I was devestated by the review you wrote of them, and I'd only heard a few minutes of their music a few days before :)

I really need more money to spend oninvest in random music like this, so I can find random bands that I'd never hear of if it weren't for people like you and David (don't ask - man with the weirdest CD collection that I know)...
