I was woken by a phone call from a rather nice young lady (she sounded cute, anyway) who is putting me forward for two jobs - one in Newcastle, one in the "deep south" somewhere :) Both embedded development - I think I need to read some of my software engineering books again...

It'd get me out of Greenock and call centres, but it does rather fuck up my plans to stay where I am for 6 months. Oddest of all, I haven't actually sent away a CV in months now. They must have found it at the bottom of a deep dark inbox somewhere. Argh, why can't they leave me alone? :-)
