pmsumner at 08:53pm on 15/08/2002It was nice. Quite nice. Ground floor flat in Renton. Small, with 3 rooms only (plus bathroom), but realistically, it's all I would need. Quite a nice size, however. Big back garden. Smelt damp. I mean really damp. I think that was simply because the bathroom was right by the front door, which means that any accumulation of damp hits you the second you walk in, rather than gradually building.
However, I still need to see the ones in Greenock, and they want an answer (yes or no) tomorrow. Considering this is #1 on my list, I'm not ready to make a decision yet. I still have two or three possibles in Greeock to investgate yet.
All I want is a small flat, close to work, that I can afford on my salary. Not an outlandish thing to ask for - is it?
