At 0910 this morning, after having been at work for 30 minutes, Ronnie (Team Manager) came over to me whilst Nicole was doing some call monitoring and said "log out before another call comes through", at which point another call comes through. D'oh.
Anyhow, turned out to be a drop call. Lucky. We had training. Apex training. (Achieving Positive EXperiences). This is all about how to turn a negative call into a positive one. Lyndsey and I were on the standby lists and luckily enough, two people dropped out! Nothing exciting, but damn - it's a full day (9-5) off the phones. And again tommorrow! YAY! Feels like I've done nothing serious over the last two days, what with an hour long meeting, an hour of investment time and a 45 minute presentation yesterday.
Oh, speaking of which.. mustn't forget. I'm doing a presentation on Picture Messaging for our next team meeting in two weeks. Have to find out as much as I can, see if I can procure an MMS compatible phone for that - you know how it is. Always much easier to demonstrate when you have the equipment.
I saw something on BBC4 today about Naked Voices, which is an a capella group who do various styles of music in a capella form. From Barber to Portishead to Wycleff Jean. One of them looked remarkably like Rachel, it was really quite weird. Though they sounded fantastic.
Must remember to take horrible cube thing to this training as we haven't managed to do it yet at home, hope someone can do it there.
