So...

I spent the last two days exploring every inch of Sky Digital :) Happy? Kinda - upset that I only have about 2 weeks of it left. Filling in forms and sending things off, tidying and organising, trying to ensure that I won't have too much to do the days before I move, considering we are going out to Shanghai Shuffle the night before, and am working the day before too. I have so much shite!

Uhhhm.

I'm very poor. I checked my online banking last night which was a mistake. And my cheque to the Greenock Estate Agency for £72-odd still hasn't cleared. I am going to have to stick things like petrol on the c/c this month I think, that or beg mummy and daddy - it's been a long time and I have been pouring money into my credit card accounts and savings and pension to try and bring myself into some sensible order.

Speaking of which, I got Barclaycard to reduce my limit yesterday using their online system last night, seeing as they upped it to £1,850 - I don't want that much. It's now back down to a sensible level of £500. Might see if I can persuade them to down it even lower next month.

Did I mention that I bought a DVD Player? It's an Apex AD-1100WB - Asda*Wal-Mart are selling them for under £70. Typical problems with DVD players though - Macrovision (means you can't record DVDs to VHS) and region locked. However, I have found a forum on Nerd-Out.com from whece I found a Macrovision patch, and someone is working on a Region Free patch, yay! (Not that I actually own any non-region-2 DVDs anyhow...).

Going to release some books at T-Mobile tomorrow, be interesting to see if anyone does anything with them. Lessee - Terry Pratchett - The Truth ; mayday by Nelson DeMille and Thomas Block, and The Oxygen Man by Steve Yarbrough.
