Sunday overtime at double-time. Left home at 0645 today, and got home at 2315. Why so late?
At around 3pm we were asked if we wanted to do some OT. Decided why not, as it's double time. 1815 start (normal shift finished at 1800) It all went very pleasantly, and whilst the day was VERY long it wasn't too bad in the hard-work and exhaustion stakes. Come 2215, end of the day, I get out to the car and realise that I have virtually no petrol. Think "best get to Safeway and top up", only to pat my pocket and find I left my wallet at home.
*PANIC*
I had to borrow a fiver from Lyndsey for enough petrol to get home. Damnit I was so embarrassed. So thankful though.
