Hmmmmmmmm

I bought myself 5 chicken legs the other day. They were enormous. So I spent tonight roasting them, and I've currently got 2 1/2 of the legs being boiled into soup with as many veggies as I can throw into the pot, and the others waiting to be made into curry. I'm going to eat off these things for a week, I swear.

Problem being, that I can not actually smell what I am cooking. I assume it smells good, but for the life of me I can't smell anything. I got a slight whiff of a vaguely chicken soup smell earlier, but then it vanished. I hate my nose. One day I'll chop it off and have done with the horrid thing. It doesn't work, and on the rare occasions it does work, I can never actually identify what I'm smelling. And when it's not working it tends to be oozing gunk (sorry, hope you're not eating dinner while reading this) or making me sneeze, so grrrrrrrr!
