This is so sad, I feel ashamed for admitting it.
I keep on looking into the top right hand corner of my browser window for the "home" button - that's where it is in the intranet at work. *sighs*
Having a nice time, just trying to get some kind of "social life" going will be the challenge from now on. Spent today relaxing most of the day, cleaning up, clearing the broken glass that I've been waiting to move for a week now, washed up some of the bigger stuff, hoovered and found out that the hoover is utterly pants. Might nab the 'rents' Vax for a week or two until I get paid and can buy myself one.
Overtime for 2hrs today, went really quick. Had a couple of problems with my turret ringing, erk. The phones we're sat at shouldn't actually ring, we just get an annunciator in our headset. Mine was being difficult and ringing when I was sat in "After Call Work" mode (shouldn't get calls through). This screws me up in a big way. I really don't think it's something I'm doing wrong, but reported it to Peter at R&S anyhow.
Must stop talking about work.

Hmmm. I'm watching "American Sex" on C5 (it's the only channel I can get on my PC with any clarity, honest!) - I worry about these people, really. A peach? How could he do that to a peach? Ick. Think of the stone, wouldn't that be painful?

I've never heard of this "American Sex" show you speak of. Is it some sort of reality show? Why are you Brits so fasciated with our putrid culture?

Cheesy attempts at humour are good - it's the lettucey attempts that are a bit watery (badump... *awaits the final "tish"*).
And what does it matter about people being on the other side of the world, what with this wonderful new invention, called the internet! You can talk to random strangers using a whole new medium, that you would never ever approach in the street and say "hiya" to!
Though I have to admit, I am scared that you found me through MsFlederMaus, as she has some very worrying friends :-)
