I had a dream

Oh yes I did. And in that dream, flying monkeys came along and abducted me and I was in their tight little grip as they flew over the ocean. And lo, when I awoke, somewhere about 2am today, I found myself thinking "I shouldn't be awake now, I wonder what brought that weird dream on", and promptly fell back to sleep.

Then, as I awoke this morning I found the message light on my answerphone flashing. Weird, thought I, as I haven't been more than 10 feet away from a phone all night. So I play the message, only to find howling monkeys and a pleading message from [livejournal.com profile] amphigorey13. Apparently, recorded at about 2am! Coincidence? I think so!

It was so weird, I remember waking up at 2am after having this freaky dream and thinking "I really must stop reading Mausi's posts", then finding in the morning that it was all true!

I fear for [livejournal.com profile] amphigorey13's safety now...

Nah. He was definitely picking up on some sort of cosmic brainwaves. Who in their right minds, in all decency, would call a bloke at 2 AM, anyway?
