Story in my local paper

The Greenock Telegraph, page 3 - top of the page:

"Man had more than 2,000 indecent photos of children A 30 year old man admitted having thousands of indecent internet photographs of children at a Greenock flat. [... snip ...] It stated that on 10th October 2002 at flat 2/2, 56 Lynedoch St, he did make 2,257 indecent photographs... [and the story goes on]

Now this will mean absolutely nothing to most of you. Apart from those of you who know my address. Flat 1/1, 56 Lynedoch St. Uhhuh.. Let's see then, am I now very glad that I never met my neighbours?

I'm fine. Doesn't bother me. I know these things happen, and know that to believe that they don't happen in my back yard is just foolishness.

It may be a selfish act, but it doesn't affect me - I know it goes on but am helpless to stop it. Also - when you consider that under Scotish Law, the "creation" of these pics actually only involves downloading them, it suddenly seems so much "less bad" than the story makes it.

speaking of scary neighbors, I had a big domestic dispute across the hall last night..At one point I was reaching for the phone to call 911, and then the idiots stopped fighting.

I'm telling my building manager in case anyone needs help:(
