At work on Friday, Ronnie said to me that he wasn't sure that having been there less than 6 months would be a barrier anymore, as they're opening up some new tech teams. So I'm currently filling in an application form for the Technical Aspirations Program. I hate these things. "Give an example of a time when you....." or "Give 3 times when you went over and above your peers". I mean really. I give 100% most days, and if 100% means going "over my peers", then so what? Pfft.
So... I'll hand that in on Monday. Uck. I can't wait, in some ways. Been waiting for this kind of thing for so long.
Pub last night. Went after work at about 1730, got home again at uhhm, 0100 or so. Overtime today from 1200-1800 and my lord I... ouch. OuchOuchOuchOuchhhhhh!!! My head hurt. And that was after waking up at 4am and drinking 2pints of water. I didn't feel right until about 4pm. Was a fun night. Always nice to see people in other situations.
Off until Wednesday. No money, no idea what to do now. Payday is Friday. Yay.
