BusyBusyBusy. Busy. Sleepy. Tired. Sore.
Good news today. Ronnie (t/m) got John McSomeone (I am in Scotland... he's the head techy training dude) to come over and talk with me for a bit. He essentially said to me that I should apply to the Technical Aspiraitons Program - now - because he was quite impressed with my MyWDS course, BPS and quality scores. He essentially said I should go for it and I would get it.
This is good news, scary but good. Scary because it means change. I'm comfortable in this team, and we've already lost 5 people since I started. If I move away they'll likely get disbanded, split up, whatever. Can I really place that above my own personal development? Of course not - don't be daft. Though I'd feel bad.
Payday tomorrow! YAY! I will be getting, in no particular order, BPS bonus of £198, overtime worth around 30hrs, and standard pay. I'll be loaded! Or at least, loaded enough to pay off all the stuff I've been leaving unpaid for as long as possible. Possibility of a decent corporate bonus payout in April too! Carrot, meet stick, meet T-Mobile employees :-)
Been doing nothing but sleeping and eating and working lately, feel like I should be doing stuff but there truly is nothing to do that I want to do, apart from buy stuff. I need trousers. Again. What is it with me and trousers? Perhaps if I learnt to sew properly one day I wouldn't have to buy them so darn often! *titters at feeble joke* Could do with a new jacket too, my old one is starting to look distinctly tatty...
