I have a day off, yay!
I cancelled my overtime today because I figured, what use is money if you're working yourself into the ground? Because I had my fabulous two visitors I hadn't been able to do any overtime for the first 2 weeks of the month, so have been trying to catch up and get my 30hrs in over the last 2 weeks. I even went in at 7am yesterday, finished at 11am, then went back in at 5pm->10pm. So as I've been doing silly amounts of work, I was exhausted. Decided that I needed to take a day off, there's only so many customers one can take.
No updates of late. To be frank, very little happening. Work, sleep, drink. Bought 24cans of Tennents from Safeways for a tenner which I am working my way through, may have to buy some more before the offer ends, as it is a very good deal! Also bought another copy of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, which I have been finishing off.
I want to say that things are coming together, but they're not. Things are still up in the air. This isn't a bad thing, but a bit of definitivity (is that a real word? How about definiteness?) would occasionally be nice. Waiting to hear whether they have enough applications for the Technical Aspirations Program to actually run the course. I really hope they do, else I'm going to have to seriously look at moving jobs (again...). It's the money, pure and simple. Which is a shame, because I honestly do enjoy the job and the people.

(Sodding Winamp3 doesn't work with LJ clients and music detection, grr!)

Poor Phil. Too much worky worky. At least you got lots of play time in this month. :) Feast or famine, though, isn't it.
And you're listening to my CD! Weeee! Do you like Lhasa? I love her!
