I didn't get it. Competency Based questions indeed. "Give me an example of......". "Tell me about a time when you....". I hate the things, and that's where I stumbled badly. They said that everything else was fine. Technical ability, drive, willingness to commit, but I couldn't give specific examples. *sighs*
Oh well. There's going to be more chances. More chances very soon, apparently. Disappointed as all hell but what's the use in worrying about it? Learn from it. Get back into it.

I had to answer those recently for an application - do you want to have a look, for future reference? They're a pain in the butt but you'd be amazed at how you can blow up tiny things ;)

I still think it's a sucky way of getting what they want, because I tend to do something, and then forget about it straight away, unless it's had something to remember in it (something that isn't routine, run of the mill).
This is why I'm gonna be starting to take notes on some of the calls I'm taking. Good way to try and keep some more stuff in memory. Useless stuff, admittedly, but stuff.
