Not been doing much of either. Very very tired of late. Not caught up on friends pages in about 3 days now, not going to do it now.

Wibbles about banks (again). I paid my Loan instalment early this month, direct transfer between accounts. I did it through an advisor using the phone banking service. As far as I was concerned it was all sorted, no more payment would be taken for this month. Checked online billing tonight and guess what? Loan payment attempted, and bounced. Wham, bang thank you sir, another £30 charge. I was pissed, rang the bank and was told "Nothing we can do sir, you should have told us you didn't want the payment going through". She was unhelpful, to say the least (my first bad experience with the Barclays Phone Banking experience, so far).

OK - imagine this. You work in a bank, and someone tells you that they want to transfer money to their loan account ahead of time to ensure this month's payment is OK. What do you do? Stop the scheduled payment or leave it to go through? I know what I would do, but now I also know that I am going to have to go to Glasgow and argue with the bank people in person, ARGH! I don't have any days off this week, I am working Wed/Thur/Fri/Mon/Tue, what am I supposed to do before then, exactly?

Went out for a long long drive after talking to them.

OK, so I'm not the only one with that problem :o

PS-you're confusing me, you and Rat (http://www.livejournal.com/allpics.bml?user=ratkrycek) have the same UPI and to see it twice in a row, but belonging to two different people

I'm convinced, you two are in on a conspiracy to make me (even more) confused :)

Good luck with the bank stuff

Sounds like you need a roommate to free up some cash. I think I know someone who might fit the bill...

Hmmm. Your very own pet Phiggy, eh? I wonder if there's a market for those. Better make sure the Phig has all it's shots. Oh, and don't forget the collar! hehe

Hmmm, would I have to take you for walks? Would I have to clean your litter tray?

The Phig is fully housebroken, and can take herself out on her own walks. Although, company is always nice. :)
