Account Summary for 06.03.2003 (Pending)

Current Balance as of 24.02.2003: £63.25

Gotta love it eh?

So how does one cope with this new found success? :) One has to wait 14 days before one can actually spend this.

I nearly had a minor accident in my undies today when my mum called me at work and told me that Barclaycard fruad prevention dept had left a message on their phone for me to call them. EEEK! Not joking, really scared me! Turned out that they just wanted to check that it was me who'd made all those purchases online, and all those bill payments.

Madwoman called in at work, who had been charged for something - correctly (I told her so) - but went off at me about it, demanding escalation and telling me that she was going to drag me through the courts and newspapers, then called back an hour later and apologised to someone else about it. Made me feel goooood to know that yes, I can stand my ground and yes, I will be right about it, and yes, contrary to her opinion... I knew exactly what I was talking about :)

Going out tomorrow night, yay! Drinkiepoos! haven't been out for ages.  Nice to get out, I guess.

So nice to be able to hook my PC up to my stereo and get decent sound from Doom :)

Guess I'd best stop wittering now?

can I make a silly suggestion...
don't spend the money...save it...
since you never have money keeping something in the bank may be a good thing

or maybe I'm 23 going on 42 and I'm really good at being frugal

I'm not very good at being frugal with anything.
I'll also quote "you can't take it with you..." whenever I get this :)

I know it's not the right attitude, really I do, and I'm doing my best to change.

I want to come and visit you sometime, I want you to have the money to be able to do things.
And unless you're over 55, don't use that quote near me.
cause if you save then you can't tell me you don't have the money to send me a kilted sheep

Are you counting your p&p in that? Cos I find the postage eats away at the little profits I get. Unless of course you're just selling really stupidly expensive books to people stupid enough to pay mad prices!

P&P - I have spent around £10 in P&P, so far on 4 books. Have another one to go today which will cost under £1.50. So in real terms I've made £50. Yes, some of them are stupidly expensive social work books (my mum's old ones, I have been carrying them around for years) and geeky books.
