British Telecom's retentions are crap!
I just called BT to cancel my line with them, as NTL have given me a phone line, and as long as I'm paying for it, I don't see the point in paying for two numbers/lines. I said "I'd like to close my line" and expected them to at least ask why. Nope. Nothing. Just did it. No attempts to retain me, no attempts to find out if there was anything they could do.
I am shocked.
Ach well. Anyone who knows my home phone number might want to mail me and I will send you my NTL number to use instead.
Went to bed at 9pm last night, slept right through to midday today, with one mildly disturbing dream, still knackered though! More later.
