hehe!
they amuse me sometimes, and some people just need to be corrected, like the person I posted about who commented here (http://www.livejournal.com/talkread.bml?journal=skinglist&itemid=28553&thread=32137#t32137), here (http://www.livejournal.com/talkread.bml?journal=skinglist&itemid=29366&thread=32438#t32438), and again here (http://www.livejournal.com/talkread.bml?journal=skinglist&itemid=29366&thread=33718#t33718).

ugh, AOL ebonics pisses me off as well.
sometimes I shorten things and occasionally as "y?" when I'm in a conversation and kitty is trying to sit on the keyboard.

*chuckle*
and why the hell was the person so pissed...they almost sound like an asian imigrant speaking fractured english.

They wanted to read the entry about my new neighbour (Rosie O'Donnel) that was FO but I referenced in the first post they commented in.

Yeah, I;ll do that on occasion--and Im the queen of 'cause'..but when its full 'paragraphs' of it it's just irritating.

And what is it with cats and keyboards!>

same as with cats on books, it's called CAR
cats against reading. they don't want us to know.

And occasionally I'll skip a capital (or is it ol) letter or some punctuation, but you never have to think very hard to figure it out.

Re:

when Im typing quickly, I tend to miss caps, and Im the queen of no apostrophe simply because that key was broken on my computer for so long

CAR, I like that. My friend's cats get jealous, they start meowing so loudyly whenever we get on the phone because they want attn--and heaven forbid you try to turn on the tap to get water because then they want to play in it--they have yet to learn that as cats they're not supposed to like water...

PS-think [livejournal.com profile] phil99 wants to strangle us yet? Kick us out of your comments anytime :)

I usually try to behave myself in others' posts, but sometimes commentversations are unavoidable...

phil loves me too much to strangle me...he's still hoping to meet me after 3 years
*chuckle*

my kitty just stares at me, or you can ask Phil hor my cat tries to get attention. She's very loud.

wow, three years, that's cool.
hopefully you'll make it to the UK or he'll make it to NY.
How loud is she?

Re:

he can here her from about 6 feet from the phone. She's a little bit of a thing, but she's part siamese...so she'll suprise you. But I still love her.

And hopefully a trip with happen sometime.

Re:

we are siamese if you please, we are siamese if you don't please

sorry, couldn't resist :)

the UK is beautiful, you'll enjoy it

Re:

I probably would, my grandparents were from London, so I find British accents very soothing.

yeah, I've sung the siamese song to her.
She likes to sleep on my face, which makes me understand the old wives tale of a cat stealing a babies breath.

Re:

I used to think the accents were soo difficult to understand but then I taight for a year with a lot of Brits, Kiwis and Aussies, and I learned :)

never heard that tale

Re:

ah, they just say that cats steal a babies breath...mostly because their faces are warm, so they sleep there.
My cat must think I breath from somewhere else.

heh. I was at my friend's place earlier and we were sitting on the patio and the cat walked from the table top up my arm to myt head where she perched and got nicely tangled...got so offended when I tried to move her as only cats can

Re:

*chuckle* my cat used to sit on my shoulder. She prefers pushing the keyboard draw in and sitting on my desk in front of the screen.

Re:

when my friend's cat was a kitten she used to like to sit in the drawer cause she was tiny and the drawer was deep...now she likes the top of the tower for the warmth.

I miss my cat :(

I don't think I'd be able to live alone if I didn't have my cat

Re:

'My' cat ran away shortly after I went to college :(

I say 'my' becuase it was really one of my neighbour's cats. They had 30 outdoor cats and this one was so tiny, he didnt get enough to eat so we adopted him

yeah, turning off notifications is always good when people get into a commentversation that you're not involved in...especially a 31 post commentversation ;)

Have you found the cap?

They don't need correcting, they need a lobotomy. Well - that assumes the surgeon can find the brain.
