I'm a bit hacked off with T-Mobile as my network provider today. My phone and / or SIM has been a bit flaky lately - I've been having problems with my phone losing all ability to make calls and send messages from it. In order to solve this problem I asked for a replacement SIM.
I understand that the replacement SIM must overwrite the details of the old SIM, as one phone number can (fairly obviously) only have one SIM associated with it. But at about 2:30am last night I found myself with no ability to connect to the network. I figure this was because the SIM serial on my account has been updated.
But look at it like this. There is no post on Sundays. Anywhere. Why in the world would you update it on a Sunday, leaving me without a phone service for a full day at minimum, or a possible two days assuming my post comes after I go to work? At least my old SIM worked sporadically.
This is definitely something to bring up as a suggestion somewhere.
On the plus side, I have been very pleased with the service received every time I've called up regarding any problems or queries.
