At least, in my small world of unrockiness, I rock indeed.
I have forced the evil sound card of doom into submission, wrestled it into the ground and ensured that at last and finally, I have power management, and sound in the one kernel! HURRAH! And all it took was to download alsa and recompile, because silly YaST is too silly to realise that the sound card module's name has changed by two characters. *grumble grumble*
What's the betting the 2.5 series becomes 2.6 before I'm ready, now? I've been playing with that briefly but not managed to make it work properly just yet.
Admittedly, I don't have USB ready yet, or Firewire, but I don't use either of those in Linux, so *shrugs* Dunno if I'll even bother, save to get rid of those damn error messages at boot-time :)
Now to catch up with everything else.
