Amusingly enough, my subject line was typed first time as "Cheese, Meat Toast" :)

I have coffee. I had coffee, I need to make sure I'm accurate. That was some good stuff, strong. BIG mugs of espresso. You know most people drink it out of those titchy cups? They're wussies ;)

I needed it this morning. I had a few drinks last night and ended up asleep on the sofa again with Red Dwarf on. This seems to be a recurring theme in my weekends off :) Woke up at 5am when I transferred myself woosily (I think I managed to almost fall over somewhere between living room and bed) to bed. At which time I snored until 9am.

One dose of cheese-on-toast made with the strongest cheese I could find, and an enormous mug of coffee later, I feel human again. It's bloody hot in here today, I'm wearing very little and I'm still feeling hot and sweaty. Don't know it this is an outside thing or whether someone left the heaters on downstairs. *swelters*

I'm going for a walk along the prom and to see if I can buy myself a new walkman. I destroyed my old one a long time back by dropping it repeatedly and losing some functionality every time, until it eventually stopped working completely. Anyone wanna join me? It's a nice clear day and you can see right across the Clyde to Helensburgh, Dunoon and all those bits over there.

Uhh.

Been chatting to [livejournal.com profile] kesstrel on Mono today for a few minutes, it's nice to talk :) No matter how brief.

you don't know how tempting that is
if the prices (http://www.expedia.com/pub/agent.dll?tovr=2003052000&ps3u=) weren't so scary, I'd probably seriously consider it...
and that pesky thing known as work..but the price is more of a deterrent

Uhhuh. $850 is just a little bit too much to seriously consider :)

I think that's because it's so soon. I can usually fly to the UK for $2-300.
PS: I just noticed your website in your UPI and went to check it out and..on another note I just realised you;re only about six weeks older than me :o

My website is particularly dull :) It's a placeholder until I find something worthwhile to put there. Though I am still proud of the fact that I wrote a functional LJ web-based client in a few weeks (with several improvements coming later!)

6 weeks older? Hurrah! I'm normally the youngest person out of everyone I know!

yeah, that's pretty nifty. What made you decide to write that?
all of my websites are place holders that serve as image dumps :)

I was bored and unemployed and wanted something to do. It was perfect for me, I wanted to learn Perl :)
