I have a plan. Whether I can stick to this plan or not is a different matter entirely. I'm notoriously bad at sticking to plans. Not through lack of will power, mainly through forgetfulness!
My plan, is to walk to work, is to do what I did today and walk the length of the esplanade at least once a day on my days off, and well... that's about it.
My problem comes on work days. I don't mind walking to work, but when I do that it means I am effectively stuck there all day. I can't come home if I forget anything, I can't come home for lunch or go to Safeway for cash or if I need anything bought.
Again, I don't mind most days... it's just inconvenient. Considering that it's onnly a ten minute walk to work, I'll survive.
The second problem with this is my laziness :) I have a tendency to get up 10 minutes before I need to be there. This means I don't have time to walk it, heck I barely have time to get dressed and drive it.
Anyhow. It's a plan. And hopefully it shall be a long-lived plan.
