I'm starting early tomorrow and look at the time. *sighs*
I can't sleep.
I've been in bed for 2hrs and I just can't stop my brain from ticking over. Whether it's with worry or whether it's just something else, I don't know. I'm not scared - I'm not worried really either. I am apprehensive (Good Word Sir). I guess it's the great unknown.

I'm going to be in heaven when my holiday starts. No more worrying about getting up early for nearly 2 weeks. Hurrah.

Oh, and I decided to do what the support and abuse people have suggested many many times that everyone should do, and stuck in a private entry with contact details in. Just in case, ya know. Jan 1st 1970, just for anyone who's wondering why there's suddenly an entry for 1970 in my calendar :-)

What kind of info do they suggest? I hadn't seen the entries.

It's just really basic contact details. Name, address, home phone, mobile phone and stuff like that. It's not like you need to do it, but there may be times when LJ abuse/support staff have an urgent need to contact you or your family.

I use "you" in a generic context.

The one example I can think of right now, is suicide and/or threats to one's life in a journal.

It's a private entry, though it might make sense to make it FO - at least that way I don't have to type out my details all the darn time ;)

that's why I made mine FO, got tired of rewriting it so now it's linked to in my bio

I think Bed is no longer an option, considering i need to be up in 45 minutes!

I'll just sleep at work, as normal, then...

It'd been a long time, but better than getting 2hrs kip and feeling shitty. I felt remarkably OK for most of Monday :)

Besides - everyone should do it once in a while, it's an experience ;)

of course
if Im not getting three hours, I usually don't bother with bed at all

That's it. Going to bed for a short period I find is worse than not sleeping at all. At least that way you tend to get a second wind sometime!

yeppers,
although a ten minute power nap can also work wonders

No way! If I go to sleep, I go to sleep :)
