You're lucky that you can work overtime like that to get more money if you need it one month. I sometimes wish I had that option.

Overtime is both a curse and a blessing. It's limited to the times when they need you, obviously - and this tends to be late night, early morning, or an hour here or there. It's very tightly scheduled.

Also, when you start working it regularly, you really find you miss the extra money it brings when you _stop_ doing it, as I have for the past couple of months :)
